The EMTEP – Engineering Consultants, Lda activity focuses on providing Engineering Consulting services based on a culture of excellence, diversification, innovation and competence, allowing to offer its customers an integrated and transversal service in all its development phases.
The competence and experience acquired over the years by its technicians allows EMTEP to ensure, with the customer, the conduct and development of all project phases, always with a multidisciplinary perspective, from preliminary economic and financial viability studies, Value Engineering, to the project design and the respective follow-up on site until the end.

At EMTEP we develop Consulting projects & HVAC – Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning – Engineering Design projects, Combustible Gas, Thermal Power Plants, Industrial fluid networks and Solar Thermal.
At EMTEP we develop Consultancy and Engineering Design with a detailed analysis of building safety studies, adjusted on a case-by-case scenery, designing safe buildings for people and goods. Buildings well prepared in evacuation situations of the occupants and protection of goods.
At EMTEP we develop consultancy in Energy Certification projects, both for new and existing buildings, supporting architecture and the client in obtaining the best energy efficiency solutions for the building.
At EMTEP, we develop dynamic thermal and energy modeling of buildings using the IES.VE® software, allowing us to estimate the energy performance throughout the year and help in decision making on constructive and/or technological solutions.
At EMTEP we develop Consulting and Engineering Design in electrical installations for buildings, electrical infrastructures in urban networks, telecommunications infrastructures in buildings and in Urbanizations, network cabling structures and computer networks, ambient sound, electronic security and system of Technical Management and centralized Energy Management.
At EMTEP we develop consultancy in Energy Auditing and Indoor Air Quality for buildings.
The detailed sharing of multiple information is a crucial point on processes and resources optimization, as well as developed processes quality assurance, essentially at the level of inter-specialty compatibility.
At EMTEP we develop our projects based on BIM (Building Information Modelling) and CAD (computer aided design) technology.
At EMTEP we develop coordination work selecting the project teams, assisting the contractor in the Management, Execution and Coordination of all the processes necessary for a clear and unambiguous definition of the program.

This analysis is based essentially on 5 main vectors: i) Buildings physics, ii) Simulation and thermal modelling, iii) Analysis of passive solutions and sustainable strategies, iv) Analysis of the indoor and outdoor ventilation profile and v) Solar analysis.
